A Anhembi Morumbi desenvolveu, em parceira com a AmazonasCap, uma aceleradora de startup: a Anhembi UP. O objetivo, além de oferecer uma formação diferenciada, é que os alunos criem negócios disruptivos e sustentáveis que impactem positivamente na sociedade.
Segundo o site da Amazonascap, a proposta deles é apoiar startups de potencial reconhecido por nossas bancas de seleção que são compostas por mentores de alto nível e especialistas em diferentes disciplinas.
Os alunos interessados apresentam seus projetos e, semestralmente, a universidade seleciona os mais promissores para participar. Durante esse tempo na Anhembi UP, os estudantes dos projetos selecionados terão sessões de mentorias, palestras e dinâmicas.
Os grupos serão preparados para o Demo Day, que é, nada mais nada menos, o dia de apresentação dos seus projetos para investidores com o objetivo, logicamente, de conseguir investimento para os seus negócios.
Podem participar os alunos regularmente matriculados em cursos presenciais, semipresenciais e à distância da Anhembi Morumbi. Ex-alunos também são elegíveis, desde que com comprovação de formação através do diploma. Entretanto, não é permitido que os grupos tenham participantes de fora da universidade.
