Todos os anos milhares de estudantes se preparam para prestar vestibulares em instituições de ensino superior público, mas a gente sabe que não é tão simples entrar em uma universidade pública. Afinal, as provas dessas instituições possuem um grau maior de dificuldade e você ainda vai se deparar com vestibulares extremamente concorridos.

Pensando nisso, foi criado o Sistema de Seleção Unificada, também conhecido como Sisu. Esse programa ajuda estudantes de todo o país a se candidatarem a vagas de cursos de universidades públicas.

Mas afinal, quem criou o Sisu? Fique conosco que iremos te contar tudo sobre o programa!

O que é o Sisu?

O Sisu é o sistema informatizado no qual estudantes se candidatam a vagas em universidades públicas de todo o país. Sendo assim, todos os anos são disponibilizadas nessa plataforma vagas de cursos de graduação em faculdades públicas. Essas vagas são direcionadas para estudantes que prestaram o Enem (Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio).

Quem criou o Sisu?

O Sisu foi criado em em 2010 pelo o Ministério da Educação (MEC). Nesse ano foi ao ar a plataforma digital intitulada como Sistema de Seleção Unificada (Sisu), com a finalidade de democratizar o acesso dos estudantes às instituições de ensino superior público.

Em qual governo foi criado o Sisu?

Em 2010, ano em que o Sisu foi criado, o responsável pelo Ministério da Educação era o ex-prefeito de São Paulo, Fernando Haddad, que idealizou o projeto em 2009 junto ao governo Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Para se ter uma ideia, no primeiro semestre de 2010 foram ofertadas 47 mil bolsas e, no primeiro semestre de 2011, 83.125 vagas em 83 instituições públicas. No primeiro semestre de 2019 foram disponibilizadas 235.476 vagas em 129 faculdades e universidades brasileiras.

Como funciona o Sisu?

Quando abrem as inscrições do Sisu, o candidato deve selecionar o curso, faculdade, unidade, turno e modalidade de concorrência (cotas ou ampla concorrência). Ele disputa a com outras pessoas que fizeram as mesmas escolhas.

Durante o período de inscrição, é possível alterar as opções. Para a seleção será considerada a última preferência confirmada no sistema. Ao final da etapa da inscrição, o sistema seleciona automaticamente os candidatos mais bem colocados em cada curso, universidade, unidade, turno e modalidade de concorrência de acordo com suas notas no Enem.

Os selecionados têm um prazo para fazer a matrícula na instituição onde conseguiram a vaga.

Inscrição no Sisu

A inscrição no Sisu acontece duas vezes ao ano, antes do início de cada semestre e as inscrições acontecem online pelo site oficial do programa. Vale lembrar que a inscrição no Sisu é gratuita.

Portanto, você se inscreve e não paga nenhuma taxa para participar do processo seletivo do Sisu! E o primeiro passo para se inscrever, é ter realizado a última edição do Enem e ter obtido nota superior a zero na redação.

Mas atenção, fique ligado com as datas de encerramento de inscrição. Após encerrar o processo seletivo, será liberado no site uma lista com os nomes dos candidatos selecionados e depois disso, é só realizar sua matrícula e apresentar as documentações na faculdade que foi aprovado. Simples e fácil assim! 

Nota de corte do Sisu

Algumas instituições de ensino superior acabam estabelecendo uma nota mínima para inscrição em determinados cursos. Neste caso, se você não conseguir atingir a nota mínima estabelecida, o próprio sistema do site vai te enviar uma mensagem informando. Mas nem tudo está perdido! Você ainda pode se inscrever, basta você selecionar outro curso ou tentar em outra instituição.

Além disso, diariamente durante todo o período de inscrição são liberadas as notas de corte do Sisu conforme os critérios de cada curso e instituição. E você pode trocar sua opção de curso e instituição quantas vezes quiser durante todo o período de inscrição.

Quem pode participar do Sisu?

Para participar do Sisu, é preciso ter feito a última prova do Enem, ter conseguido uma nota maior que zero na redação e não ser considerado treineiro (aqueles candidatos que ainda não terminaram o ensino médio e fazem a prova só para ver como estão seus conhecimentos). Esses requisitos são indispensáveis, afinal, é por meio da nota do Enem que o candidato será classificado e selecionado.

Lembre-se de que não há restrição de nota para participar do Sisu, mas algumas instituições podem dar pesos diferentes e exigir notas mínimas para determinados cursos. Por exemplo: Um curso de Química pode dar um peso maior à nota de Ciências da Natureza do Enem. Um curso de Medicina também pode definir uma média mínima igual ou superior a 560 pontos e nota mínima em Ciências da Natureza igual ou superior a 400 pontos.

Resultado do Sisu

O resultado do Sisu costuma ser divulgado no início da semana seguinte ao encerramento das inscrições. Ele pode ser consultado no site oficial do processo seletivo.

O Sisu seleciona automaticamente os candidatos mais bem classificados em cada curso, segundo as notas obtidas no Enem e eventuais ponderações (pesos atribuídos às notas ou bônus). Ou seja, as maiores pontuações vão receber os primeiros lugares, até que todas as vagas daquele curso estejam completas. 

Serão selecionados somente os candidatos classificados dentro do número de vagas oferecidas pelo sistema, de acordo com o curso escolhido, por tipo de concorrência. Em casos onde a nota do estudante o permita classificar-se em duas opções de vagas (primeira e segunda opção Sisu), ele será convocado apenas para a primeira opção.
