Em mais uma reunião do comitê de emergência da educação foi discutida a possibilidade de flexibilizar o calendário letivo da educação básica por conta do coronavírus. O MEC e as secretarias estaduais avaliam a situação de diminuir o mínimo de 200 dias letivos por ano conforme a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases (LDB), ou então ofertar parte da carga horária a distância.  

Ao mesmo tempo, o Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento (FNDDE) também avalia a possibilidade de custear a alimentação escolar de alunos com baixa renda. Essa ação já vem sendo feita em algumas escolas públicas, que mesmo fechadas, oferecem a merenda ou um kit de alimentação para a família do aluno.

Já nas universidades, a recomendação é que as defesas de tese de doutorado e dissertações de mestrado sejam feitas de forma virtual pelos próximos dois meses.  Aproveitando a ocasião, representantes de universidades se a avaliar utilizar suas estruturas para produção de álcool em gel.

Aplicativo com transparência a dados de escolas

Nesta quinta-feira, 19 de março, foi lançado o aplicativo Clique Escola, que visa juntar informações de mais de 180 mil escolas públicas e privadas de educação básica no país.

Segundo o MEC, o aplicativo terá informações como nota de cada escola no Sistema de Avaliação da Educação Básica (Saeb); média de alunos por turma; porcentagem de professores com curso superior; aprovação, reprovação e abandono.

O aplicativo Clique Escola já está disponível nas lojas Google Play e Apple Store.
