Em entrevista na manhã dessa segunda-feira, o Secretário Estadual da Educação de São Paulo, Rossieli Soares, afirmou que o projeto de aulas a distância (EaD) da educação básica no estado, por conta do coronavírus, já está bem avançado e as aulas devem começar em abril.
Na rede estadual de ensino, as aulas já vinham sendo suspensas gradualmente desde a semana passada, o que resultou na redução de 50% dos alunos em salas de aula já na segunda-feira, dia 16. Logo na quarta-feira, dia 18, praticamente já não tinham estudantes comparecendo as aulas, disse o secretário.
Na semana passada as aulas eram opcionais, não contariam faltas e não seria dado novo conteúdo, as escolas estavam abertas apenas para que os pais e responsáveis pudessem se adaptar para a suspensão total das aulas nas redes estaduais e municipais, que se deu nesta segunda-feira, dia 23.

Rossieli afirmou ainda que de hoje (23) até o dia 6 de abril será considerado um recesso escolar, onde o professor continua trabalhando de casa. Logo depois, entre os dias 6 e 20 de abril, será considerada uma antecipação as férias dos professores que estavam previstas para julho, sem atividades oficiais para os alunos nesse período.
Calendário e conteúdo escolar
No período de recesso será oferecido conteúdo a distância (ead) para os alunos, mas não contará como calendário escolar. Já a partir do dia 21 de abril, esse conteúdo passa a ser considerado no calendário escolar. A princípio, a educação a distância será oferecida por meio de um aplicativo desenvolvido pelo governo de São Paulo. Segundo o Secretário, eles estão na fase de negociação com as empresas de telecomunicações para que esse aplicativo não consuma dados de internet dos alunos, uma vez que a maioria é de baixa renda. A ideia é que hoje mesmo já consigam chegar nesse acordo com as empresas. Com isso, o fechamento do bimestre será adiado e divulgado um novo calendário escolar no dia 21 de abril.
O objetivo é que esses conteúdos sejam desenvolvidos de duas formas: atividades que serão oferecidas pelo aplicativo e o aluno precisa completar para ir evoluindo; e aulas ao vivo com interatividade entre alunos e professores.
Também perguntado sobre a distribuição das merendas escolares, Soares informou que eles estão aguardando uma normativa do governo federal para essa liberação, uma vez que a compra é feita com recursos da união.
