O Narizes de Plantão é um projeto que tem como objetivo levar a arte e alegria do palhaço ao ambiente hospitalar. Ele é realizado por alunos da área da saúde do Centro Universitário São Camilo, de São Paulo, como projeto de extensão dos cursos.
O projeto começou em 2010 com alguns alunos do curso de Medicina da instituição, que queriam algo a mais além das matérias técnicas da graduação. Foi então que encontraram um professor biomédico que também era palhaço e começaram uma oficina na sala da faculdade mesmo. Depois de formada a primeira turma da oficina de palhaços, resolveram utilizar essa linguagem nos hospitais e propuseram um projeto de extensão para a faculdade.
Assim vieram outros grupos de alunos, não só de Medicina, mas também de Biomedicina, Enfermagem, Fisioterapia, Nutrição, Psicologia e Terapia Ocupacional. Logo após, com a crescente constante, vieram também outros dois hospitais: o Samaritano de São Paulo e o Hospital da Criança (São Luiz).
Hoje a missão do projeto é usar a pesquisa sobre a arte do palhaço para modificar o ambiente hospitalar, bem como as percepções dos estudantes da área da saúde sobre as relações humanas.
As visitas acontecem semanalmente ao Hospital da Criança, Hospital São Camilo e ao Promove. Cada visita dura em torno de 3 horas e é realizada por grupos de 2 a 4 palhaços. Além de amenizar as preocupações dos pacientes, o grupo conhece a rotina dos colaboradores dos hospitais e potencializa sua formação artística e sua visão humana sobre a relação profissional paciente.
Durante os 10 anos do projeto, já foram mais de 200 alunos treinados em 236 oficinas artísticas, realizando 572 visitas com mais de 53.000 encontros entre pacientes, acompanhantes, funcionários e alunos.
Selo Instituição Socialmente Responsável
O Narizes de Plantão já ganhou “Selo Instituição Socialmente Responsável”, o certificando a participação na 14ª Campanha da Responsabilidade Social do Ensino Superior Particular. O selo foi oferecido em 2018 pela Associação Brasileira de Mantenedores de Ensino Superior (ABMES).

As inscrições para participação do projeto são abertas todo ano para alunos do Centro Universitário São Camilo, e devem ser feitas seguindo as informações publicadas no edital lançado pela instituição.
