O Ministério da Educação (MEC) publicou nesta quarta-feira, 17 de junho, uma portaria no Diário Oficial da União que autoriza aulas a distância em instituições federais de ensino superior até dezembro. Esse documento é uma extensão de uma portaria já publicada anteriormente por conta da do estado de pandemia de coronavírus. Dessa vez, a substituição das aulas presenciais por EaD pode ser mantida até 31 de dezembro de 2020.
A portaria também permite que estágios e as práticas em laboratório sejam feitos a distância durante esse período, com exceção dos cursos da área de saúde.
A responsabilidade de definir quais componentes curriculares serão substituídos será da própria instituição. As faculdades também que deverão disponibilizar recursos que permitam aos alunos o acompanhamento das atividades letivas, assim como a realização de avaliações durante esse período.
Ao mesmo tempo. o documento também prevê que as instituições podem suspender as atividades acadêmicas presenciais pelo mesmo prazo, mas elas deverão ser “integralmente repostas”. Não foi estabelecido um prazo para essa reposição, mas a orientação é que elas sejam feitas somente quando for seguro voltar ao ensino presencial.
Visão das instituições
Algumas instituições já informaram que irão aderir a portaria do MEC que autoriza aulas a distância no ensino superior até dezembro. A Universidade de São Paulo (USP), por exemplo, anunciou que suas aulas presenciais só devem retomar em janeiro de 2021. Unesp e Unicamp ainda não tomaram uma decisão final, mas acreditam que também retornaram as atividades presenciais somente em 2021.
‘Agora as IES terão todas as condições para fazer a transição com suavidade, podendo planejar as atividades atuais e a retomada das ações presenciais com tranquilidade e segurança jurídica. E garantir a proteção da saúde tantos dos alunos quanto dos funcionários e dos professores, que, em grande parte, integram o grupo de risco.‘ ressalta o diretor presidente da ABMES, Celso Niskier em nota publicada no site da instituição.
Esta já é a terceira vez que essa autorização de aulas online é prorrogada e as IES que aderirem ao modelo deverão comunicar o MEC em até 15 dias após o início da substituição de atividades letivas.
