Seja público ou privado, o crédito estudantil tem o mesmo objetivo: ajudar milhões de pessoas a conquistarem o sonho de realizar um curso de Ensino Superior.

No geral, o crédito estudantil vem como uma alternativa para quem não tem condições de pagar o valor integral da mensalidade do curso superior escolhido. O processo é semelhante ao de um empréstimo: em um curso de quatro anos, por exemplo, você não precisará pagá-lo apenas nesse tempo, podendo postergar a mensalidade por um período mais longo.

A instituição privada precisa aceitar o  financiamento estudantil privado ou público. Há diversos tipos de crédito estudantil:

  • O que você pode pagar a faculdade somente após concluí-la;
  • O que você pode pagá-la no dobro do tempo, ou 
  • Aquele em que você inicia o pagamento ainda como estudante.

Qual é a importância do financiamento estudantil?

A importância do financiamento estudantil privado ou público é evidente justamente em seu objetivo: fazer com que mais pessoas tenham acesso ao Ensino Superior no Brasil.

Quais são os tipos de financiamento estudantil?

Financiamento estudantil público

O financiamento público mais conhecido é o o Fies. Na modalidade, há muito mais requisitos do que em um financiamento estudantil privado: como o ingresso é por meio do Enem, o estudante deverá ter realizado a prova, ter atingido, no mínimo, 450 pontos e não ter zerado na redação. Além disso, é preciso que a renda familiar per capita do candidato não ultrapasse 3 salários-mínimos.

Saber como utilizar a nota do Enem no Fies (Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil) é fundamental para quem quer ingressar em faculdades privadas. Isso porque, pelo Fies, você pode financiar a sua graduação na instituição privada de sua escolha – desde que ela aceite esse programa como forma de ingresso. Se a sua instituição de preferência aceita o Fies e você deseja realizar a inscrição, será preciso que você:

  • Tenha participado de uma das edições do Enem desde 2010;
  • Tenha obtido média de, no mínimo, 450 pontos, e não tenha zerado a redação. 

Vale reforçar que quanto maior a nota de um candidato, mais chances ele tem de conseguir uma vaga no Fies. Além disso, as inscrições ocorrem duas vezes ao ano, no início de cada semestre.

Com esse financiamento, enquanto o aluno estiver matriculado, terá que realizar um pagamento trimestral referente aos juros do financiamento. Assim, com a conclusão do curso, esse pagamento ainda continua por alguns meses em virtude do prazo de carência. Após este prazo, a dívida restante é parcelada e pode ser paga em vários meses ou anos.

Como exemplo de financiamento estudantil privado, falaremos sobre o Pravaler, uma das formas de como financiar a faculdade particular. No geral, as burocracias de crédito privado estudantil são menores e, portanto, torna-se mais fácil o processo de adesão. 

Para entender como funciona o financiamento estudantil privado, é importante saber, primeiramente, que cada empresa tem seus valores e requisitos, sendo algo particular.

O Pravaler é um crédito privado estudantil que existe desde 2001 e, desde então, vem ganhando espaço e destaque no mercado. Atualmente, o Pravaler já ajudou mais de 200 mil alunos a terem acesso à educação no Brasil. 

Por se tratar de um crédito universitário privado, a burocracia é bem menor do que os financiamentos públicos. Já são mais de 500 instituições pelo país que contém parceria com o Pravaler e, para participar, o estudante deve averiguar se a instituição de escolha tem essa parceria. 

O processo é feito todo pela internet: no simulador do Pravaler, você busca a sua instituição e o seu curso, confere as condições e preenche o cadastro. Posteriormente, você deverá enviar os seus documentos solicitados e o do seu garantidor.

Com a matrícula na faculdade que foi escolhida no cadastro, você validará as informações para então ser aprovado no financiamento estudantil. Vale lembrar que a contratação é semestral. Portanto, você deve solicitar a renovação a cada 6 meses do crédito privado estudantil.

Como funciona o pagamento no Pravaler?

No Pravaler, por exemplo, você paga o valor de 6 meses em 12 meses. Ou seja, em um curso superior de 4 anos, você terá 8 anos para pagá-lo. 

É difícil conseguir o financiamento estudantil privado do Pravaler?

Uma das exigências para participar do financiamento Pravaler é a existência de um garantidor, que tem a mesma finalidade de um fiador. Para isso, essa pessoa precisa ter renda de pelo menos um salário-mínimo.

Além disso, ela não pode ser garantidor de outro participante do programa. Além da necessidade de comprovação de renda por parte do garantidor, o aluno precisa comprovar renda mínima de 2,5 vezes o valor da mensalidade do curso escolhido.

Para atingir essa renda, pode-se juntar a renda do aluno e do garantidor, ou apenas a renda do garantidor. No financiamento Pravaler, ambém é imprescindível que o nome do aluno e do garantidor estejam limpos no SPC e SERASA, além de apresentarem o CPF em situação regular.

Para ter direito ao financiamento de faculdade pelo Pravaler, o crédito privado estudantil deve ser feito apenas para um curso, seja ele de graduação ou pós-graduação. 

Os documentos exigidos são:

  • Cópia do RG;
  • CPF;
  • Comprovante de residência;
  • Comprovante de renda do aluno e do garantidor;
  • Comprovante de residência do aluno e do garantidor.

Assim que o seu cadastro for realizado, o prazo de validade é de 90 dias. Ou seja: é esse período que a sua instituição tem para confirmar os seus dados acadêmicos.

Quais cursos o Pravaler financia?

Levando em consideração que há 500 instituições parceiras do Pravaler, dá para imaginar que muitos são os cursos financiados, né?  Por exemplo, até o momento em que essa matéria foi escrita, o Pravaler financia diversos cursos, dentre eles:
