Como é o curso de Direito?
O bacharelado em Direito tem duração mínima de cinco anos, ou seja, dez semestres. O curso é denso, marcado por muita teoria e prática e forma profissionais que querem atuar como advogados, juízes, promotores, e outros que atuam diretamente com a Justiça e com a boa prática das leis.
Para quem quer atuar como advogado, além de realizar o curso de Direito, também é preciso prestar a prova da OAB (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil), que garante ao profissional a carteira de registro que vai habilitá-lo a exercer a profissão. Esta prova acontece três vezes ao ano e seus editais são disponibilizados, em média, quatro meses antes de ser realizada.
O exame é composto por uma primeira fase com 80 questões de múltipla escolha, e uma segunda parte composta por provas de ordem prática-profissional, com uma redação de peça profissional e quatro questões discursivas, em formato de soluções-problema, em que o candidato precisa simular resoluções para situações hipotéticas que ele provavelmente vai enfrentar no seu dia a dia como advogado.
Além da advocacia, os graduados em Direito podem trabalhar em escritórios como assistentes jurídicos, ou na gestão jurídica de departamentos e escritórios de empresas diversas. Também podem prestar concursos públicos para atuarem como delegados de polícia, auditores, promotores públicos, defensores públicos, juízes, entre outros cargos.
Nos três primeiros anos, o curso de Direito é mais teórico, e a prática começa a se tornar maior nos anos restantes. Além das aulas, os alunos precisam fazer um estágio obrigatório e apresentar o TCC ao final do curso.
Matérias do curso de Direito
O curso de Direito exige muita leitura e dedicação. Durante o primeiro ano, o aluno é apresentado a uma grade curricular geral, que apresenta princípios gerais do Direito Universal e conceitos técnicos e questões mais básicas para quem está iniciando a carreira. A grade também apresenta matérias que vão além do Direito, mas também são importantes para a formação, como Língua Portuguesa e Psicologia.
No segundo ano do curso, disciplinas específicas passam a ocupar o espaço de teorias gerais. É o momento em que o aluno passa a estudar o Direito em seus aspectos de fato, passando do Direito Penal até o Direito Econômico. É neste momento que o curso começa a se tornar mais complexo, já que o aluno começa a estar mais perto de abordagens específicas e complexas da área.
O terceiro ano segue o foco que se iniciou no anterior em relação às teorias específicas do curso de Direito. O aluno é apresentado a novas teorias, destacando-se, geralmente, o Direito Civil e Penal. No quarto ano, o curso torna-se mais prático e é quando o aluno tem mais contato com as principais demandas do mercado. Aqui, terminam as principais teorias dos principais segmentos do Direito.
O quinto ano encerra o curso de Direito e o aluno encontra uma grade mais flexível e que vai conceder mais tempo para a produção da monografia para seu TCC. Também há a finalização de estudos relacionados a algumas das principais práticas jurídicas, como as do Direito Trabalhista e Administrativo, o estudo de teorias complementares para a formação e o início da prática do estágio obrigatório.

TCC em Direito
O Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC) em Direito é um momento importante de consolidação dos estudos para o aluno. É obrigatório apresentá-lo ao final do curso, e pode ser uma monografia relacionada a qualquer tema presente durante a formação do aluno. Além de escrever a monografia, o aluno também deve passar por uma apresentação do trabalho para uma banca de avaliadores.
Estágio em Direito
O estágio em Direito é obrigatório, e representa um momento importante para a formação do aluno, que passa por um primeiro e importante contato com o mercado de trabalho. É o momento de pôr em práticas todas as leituras realizadas durante o curso, ao mesmo tempo em que é possível fazer contatos que possam abrir portas para oportunidades profissionais depois da formatura.
Quanto tempo leva para se formar em Direito?
Em média, um aluno leva cinco anos para se formar em Direito, ou dez semestres. Em muitas faculdades, é possível terminar o curso em até duas vezes esse tempo de duração.
Existe faculdade de Direito a distância?
Embora o curso Direito seja muito teórico, o MEC ainda não homologou a autorização para que ele também possa ser oferecido a distância, pois a Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB) ainda não autorizou a modalidade e questiona a decisão do Ministério da Educação de ser favorável à criação dos cursos remotos. No entanto, os cursos podem oferecer até 40% da grade curricular de Direito de forma online, em um formato que chamamos de semipresencial.
Quanto é um curso de Direito?
As mensalidades do curso superior em Direito costumam estar entre as mais altas entre as graduações no Brasil, mas é importante destacar que há uma grande variedade de preços, pois elas vão de acordo com a instituição de ensino, seu porte em comparação às outras, sua nota no MEC e prestígio no meio.
Em média, o preço da faculdade de Direito é de R $500 a R $2.000, mas como a oscilação é grande, há universidades de mais prestígio que cobram mensalidades de até R $4.000. Mas calma, não se assuste: veremos a seguir que há muitas opções para pagar menos nas mensalidades.
Como ingressar em um curso de Direito?
Atualmente, há muitas formas de ingressar em um curso de Direito: por vestibulares, com a nota do Enem ou até mesmo com bolsas de estudo.
Nota do Enem do Sisu
A nota do Enem pode ser utilizada para tentar vagas em faculdades públicas, por meio do Sisu (Sistema de Seleção Unificada). Também é possível usar a nota para conseguir bolsas de estudo em faculdades particulares.

Prouni em Direito
Para quem não tem condições financeiras para pagar uma mensalidade de um curso de Direito, mas se destacou no Enem (Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio), o Prouni para Direito pode ser uma boa alternativa. Pode participar do programa o aluno que realizou o Enem e atende às condições exigidas:
- Ter estudado durante todos os anos do ensino médio em escola pública;
- Ter estudado durante todos os anos do ensino médio em escola particular com bolsa integral;
- Ser professor da rede pública de ensino, na educação básica e como membro permanente do quadro de professores;
- Ser pessoa com deficiência.
Também é necessário atender aos seguintes critérios de renda (com exceção de professores da rede pública de ensino):
- Para bolsa integral (100%): É necessário ter renda familiar per capita de, no máximo, um salário-mínimo e meio;
- Para bolsa parcial (50%): É necessário ter renda familiar per capita de, no máximo, três salários-mínimos.
Bolsa de estudos em Direito
Além do Prouni (Programa Universidade para Todos), também é possível tentar bolsa de estudos para Direito de diversas formas, dependendo das possibilidades oferecidas por cada instituição de ensino.
Uma bolsa de estudos pode ser oferecida, por exemplo, para pessoas que se destaquem no vestibular da instituição. Ou até mesmo a nota do Enem também pode ser reaproveitada, em modelos similares de atribuição de bolsa ao do Prouni.
Vestibular de faculdades particulares
O vestibular de faculdades particulares conta com várias opções de formato. Em muitas instituições, a nota do Enem também pode ser reaproveitada como bônus na pontuação do vestibular. Em muitos casos, o vestibular também pode ser previamente agendado para o melhor dia e horário do aluno.
Financiamento estudantil para Direito
Para quem deseja uma vaga em uma faculdade particular de Direito, há outras opções de ingresso além do vestibular. Uma delas é o financiamento estudantil, uma alternativa que facilita o pagamento para o aluno, que assim encontra um caminho viável para realizar o sonho de realizar um curso de Direito.
As condições de financiamento estudantil dependem dos critérios da instituição de ensino. Mas, em muitos casos, é necessário comprovar ter uma renda mínima ao menos duas vezes a mais do valor da mensalidade e ter uma pessoa que possa assumir a função de fiadora, garantindo que o pagamento da mensalidade seja efetuado em qualquer situação de imprevisto.
